Why Volts Energies Is Exhibiting at ETC 2026
Volts Energies is a Canadian solar retailer. It is part of a group of companies that includes Elios and Li-Cube. Volts Energies is exhibiting at ETC 2026 to show its commitment to Canada's energy transition and to support the work of Electricity Transformation Canada.
The event also gives the team a direct way to grow its network. ETC brings together the people who specify, install, distribute and finance solar and storage systems across the country. These include installers, electricians, distributors, contractors and site operators. Meeting them in person helps Volts Energies:
-
Share Elios and Li-Cube products with buyers who use them in the field
-
Hear about real project needs, from cottages to mine sites
-
Connect with businesses interested in joining the Elios dealer network
-
Stay current on the policy and market changes discussed on the conference stage

Solar covered 34.9% of the site's energy demand, even through an unusually rainy period.
How Elios and Li-Cube Support Canada's Energy Transition?
Many of the topics on the ETC 2026 program are problems that solar and storage solve at the site level.
Reliability and energy security. Battery storage and hybrid inverters keep critical loads running during outages. Pairing solar with LiFePO4 or AGM batteries gives homes, farms and businesses backup power that does not depend only on the grid.
Cutting diesel use. Construction sites, mines and remote monitoring stations often run diesel generators around the clock. Hybrid systems like Li-Cube let solar and batteries carry much of the load. The generator then runs only as backup, which lowers fuel cost, emissions, noise and maintenance.
Power where the grid can't reach. Remote communities, telecom towers and exploration camps can't always wait for a utility connection. A factory-tested container can be delivered and powering a site soon after it arrives.
Built for Canadian conditions. Canadian winters mean snow loads, short days and extreme cold. Equipment rated for −40°C and certified to CSA standards is designed for these conditions.
Adding capacity close to the load. Solar and storage at the point of use add local generation and backup capacity as electricity demand grows. This aligns with ETC's focus on building ahead of demand.
