Inverters

An inverter converts the input DC current to an AC current on the output. By doing so, it decreases the current from the DC side to higher the voltage on the output AC side.

DC current is generated by devices such as batteries and solar panels which will be connected to the input. Your AC loads (lights, phone chargers, fan etc) will be connected to the inverter’s output.

To choose your inverter, you need to know the operating voltage of your system (12V, 24V, 48V) as well as the power consumed by your equipment. The latter must be less than the constant power given on the technical data sheet.
