The Victron Orion 24/12-70A DC-DC converter is a non-isolated power converter that steps down a 24V system to a stable 12V output, letting 12V equipment run reliably on a 24V battery bank. It accepts an 18–35V input and delivers up to 70A continuous (85A surge) at an adjustable 10–15V output, making it a flexible core component for mixed-voltage electrical systems.
Housed in an IP20-rated enclosure (IP43 when mounted with terminals facing downward), the converter is built for indoor installation in vehicles, boats, and off-grid setups. Its adjustable output also allows it to double as a 12V battery charger, and up to five units can be wired in parallel to scale output current for larger loads.
