The Altilium EC400-6V, 6V 400Ah lead-carbon battery, is designed for demanding energy storage applications that require reliable cycling performance, rapid charge and discharge capability, and a long service life. Its negative plate incorporates functional activated carbon and graphene, supported by nano-silica and one-time filling and formation technology. The battery is suitable for partial state of charge applications and delivers up to 2,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge.
Rated at 400Ah at the 20-hour rate, the Altilium EC400-6V supports a maximum discharge current of 4,000A for 5 seconds, a maximum charging current of 80A, and a design life of up to 15 years. It is well suited to home energy storage, smart grids, micro-grids, distributed energy storage, solar and wind systems, off-grid and grid-connected solar installations, and hybrid generation and battery storage systems.
