The Victron Energy Argodiode 140-3AC 3-Battery 140A isolator allows three 12V or 24V batteries to charge simultaneously from one alternator without connecting the battery banks together. Rated for 140A maximum charge and alternator current, it helps prevent an accessory battery from discharging the starter battery.
High-efficiency Schottky diodes keep voltage drop to about 0.3V at low current and 0.45V at rated output. The AC model also includes a current-limited alternator energize input for alternators that require B+ voltage to start charging, making it well suited to multi-battery vehicle and marine charging systems.
