The Victron Energy Argodiode 180-3AC 180A battery isolator allows three 12V or 24V batteries to charge simultaneously from one alternator without connecting the battery banks together. Installed in the charging cable between the alternator and batteries, its high-efficiency Schottky diodes help prevent an accessory battery from discharging the starter battery.
It supports up to 180A charging current, with about 0.3V drop at low current and 0.45V at rated output. A compensation diode and alternator energize input support compatible alternators, making it a dependable solution for multi-battery vehicle and marine charging systems.
