The Victron Energy Argodiode 80-2SC Battery isolator allows two 12V or 24V batteries to charge from one alternator without connecting the battery banks together. Rated for 80A maximum charge and alternator current, it helps prevent an accessory battery from discharging the starter battery while supporting reliable dual-battery charging.
High-efficiency Schottky diodes keep voltage drop to about 0.3V at low current and 0.45V at rated output. A built-in compensation diode can help offset isolator voltage drop through the alternator's voltage-sense connection. With M6 studs and non-flammable-surface mounting, it suits vehicle, marine and other alternator-fed dual-battery systems.
