The Victron Energy Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series-connected 12V batteries in a 24V bank, or multiple parallel strings of series batteries. Above 27V, it compares both battery voltages and shifts up to 0.7A balancing current from the higher-voltage side to help both batteries converge to the same state of charge.
Several units can be paralleled, and three balancers can be used in a 48V battery bank. A midpoint alarm relay, over-temperature protection and low standby draw support reliable battery-bank management, while the IP22 enclosure suits dry, ventilated installations near the batteries.
