The Victron Energy BCD 802 Diode Battery Combiner is designed to keep mission-critical DC loads powered from two independent 12V or 24V battery sources. Rated for 80A continuous current, it allows both sources to feed the same load in parallel while preventing one battery source from backfeeding the other.
Its Schottky Diode Technology keeps voltage drop low—about 0.3V at light load and approximately 0.45V at rated current. With M6 bolt connections, it is suited to critical DC systems where power continuity matters, including electronic engine controls and other essential equipment. If one source fails, the remaining source can continue supplying the critical load.
