Victron Energy Inverter/Charger MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-50 120V | PMP242305100
Product SKU: PMP242305100The PMP242305100 has been discontinued and replaced with the UL version: PMP242305102
The MultiPlus-II is a versatile inverter/charger that includes all the capabilities of the MultiPlus, along with the ability to connect to an external current sensor, allowing for PowerControl and PowerAssist up to 100A. Additionally, this innovative device optimizes self-consumption by utilizing external current sensing, which can accommodate up to 32A. And that's not all—the MultiPlus-II also includes all the advanced features of the MultiGrid, including built-in anti-islanding and a growing list of country approvals.
The MultiPlus-II includes an automatic inverter that can quickly take over powering connected loads in case of a grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power. This feature ensures that critical devices, such as computers and electronic equipment, will continue to function without any interruption, with a response time of less than 20 milliseconds.
Key Features:
- Power Assist: The MultiPlus-II will protect against overloading a limited AC source, whether it's a generator or shore power connection. It automatically reduces battery charging when an overload would otherwise occur. Furthermore, it can increase the output of a generator or shoreside supply by drawing power from the battery.
- ESS: Energy Storage Systems: The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II is an essential component in their ESS (Energy Storage System) setup, capable of being paired with MPPT Solar Chargers or Grid-tie PV Inverters.
- Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function): In the case of a power grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power, the Multi's inverter will immediately activate and seamlessly power all connected loads in under 20 milliseconds. This allows the uninterrupted operation of sensitive electronic devices and computers.
- Remote Monitoring and Control: By pairing with a GX device (such as Cerbo GX), the Multi and system(s) can be monitored and controlled locally (LAN) or remotely through the internet, using the free VRM app and VRM portal website. This can be accessed from various devices—phones, tablets, laptops, or PCs—regardless of the operating system. The level of control is limitless, ranging from multi-adjustments to the automatic activation of a backup generator and beyond.
