Description

The Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 150/45-Tr is a high-efficiency MPPT solar charge controller designed to extract maximum energy from photovoltaic modules for battery charging. It provides up to 45A charging current and accepts up to 150V PV input, with support for 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V battery systems. Ultra-fast MPPT tracking continuously adapts to changing sunlight for improved solar energy recovery.

Multiple MPP detection helps identify the optimal operating point in variable conditions. Bluetooth connectivity enables remote control, monitoring and updates through VictronConnect when used with a Bluetooth dongle. Programmable charging algorithms and built-in protection support reliable solar installations.

What is the Victron VRM portal?

The Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal is a free cloud-based monitoring platform that displays real-time and historical data from your entire Victron system. It is accessible from any browser or mobile device and requires a Victron GX device (such as the Cerbo GX) connected to your system.

What is the difference between Victron MultiPlus and Quattro?

The MultiPlus has one AC input and combines an inverter, charger, and transfer switch in one unit. The Quattro has two AC inputs, it can accept both grid and generator power simultaneously and switch automatically between them. The Quattro is used in larger and more complex off-grid and hybrid systems requiring full redundancy.

Can I use Victron products with non-Victron batteries?

Yes. Victron MPPT controllers, inverter chargers, and battery chargers are compatible with most third-party batteries including Pylontech LiFePO4 batteries stocked at Volts Energies. Some advanced integration features such as dynamic charge current control require compatible BMS communication with GX devices.
