Description

The Victron Energy Skylla-i Control GX (Right Angle RJ45) Retail is a remote control panel for all Skylla-i battery chargers. It connects through the VE.Can bus using RJ45 cabling, allowing users to view charger status, charge current, battery voltage, input current and input current limit from a convenient panel location.

The controller can switch the charger on or off and adjust the input current limit, while LEDs show charging stages and alarms. Automatic LED brightness improves visibility, and the panel supports multiple Skylla-i chargers and control panels on one VE.Can network. It is designed for fixed panel installation.

What is the difference between Victron MultiPlus and Quattro?

The MultiPlus has one AC input and combines an inverter, charger, and transfer switch in one unit. The Quattro has two AC inputs, it can accept both grid and generator power simultaneously and switch automatically between them. The Quattro is used in larger and more complex off-grid and hybrid systems requiring full redundancy.

Can I use Victron products with non-Victron batteries?

Yes. Victron MPPT controllers, inverter chargers, and battery chargers are compatible with most third-party batteries including Pylontech LiFePO4 batteries stocked at Volts Energies. Some advanced integration features such as dynamic charge current control require compatible BMS communication with GX devices.
