Description

 

The Victron Energy VE Panel 3kVA 120/240 NA Primary 24/48Vdc is a pre-wired electrical panel designed for Victron 3kVA and 5kVA MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers. It combines AC bypass, input and output breakers, a 250A DC disconnect, 500A/50mV shunt, and DC busbars in one enclosure for cleaner, faster installation.

Designed for indoor use, the Primary VE Panel supports 120/240V split-phase systems and 24V or 48V battery banks. Built-in bypass capability allows the inverter system to be isolated for service while an AC source continues feeding the load panel, helping simplify maintenance and system integration.

What is the Victron VRM portal?

The Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal is a free cloud-based monitoring platform that displays real-time and historical data from your entire Victron system. It is accessible from any browser or mobile device and requires a Victron GX device (such as the Cerbo GX) connected to your system.

What is the difference between Victron MultiPlus and Quattro?

The MultiPlus has one AC input and combines an inverter, charger, and transfer switch in one unit. The Quattro has two AC inputs, it can accept both grid and generator power simultaneously and switch automatically between them. The Quattro is used in larger and more complex off-grid and hybrid systems requiring full redundancy.

Can I use Victron products with non-Victron batteries?

Yes. Victron MPPT controllers, inverter chargers, and battery chargers are compatible with most third-party batteries including Pylontech LiFePO4 batteries stocked at Volts Energies. Some advanced integration features such as dynamic charge current control require compatible BMS communication with GX devices.

What is the VictronConnect app used for?

VictronConnect lets you configure, monitor and update all Victron Smart-series products wirelessly over Bluetooth from any iOS or Android device, set charge parameters, view live data and read history.

Do Victron products work in cold Canadian winters?

Yes. Victron inverters and chargers are rated to perform reliably from −40°C to +65°C, making them well suited to year-round Canadian off-grid, cabin and marine use.
