Under the Greener Homes Grant Program, solar panels qualify for a rebate of $1,000/kW ($1.00/W), with a maximum rebate amount of $5,000. In most cases, homes will be limited by and receive the federal rebate cap of $5,000 for solar panel installations.
For battery energy storage systems, they can be included under the Resiliency Measures category and qualify for a $1,000 incentive. However, it's important to note that the $5,000 cap for rebates still applies to all eligible measures, including battery energy storage systems.
